Things that you can die from:
- A hungry, grizzly bear
- Getting hit by a bus
- Going 2 weeks without water
- Bikram Yoga.
The former happened. I felt I fully recovered from my double yesterday and was properly hydrated and nourished. I had on a new little yoga top and was feeling great. Famous last words. Halfway through Standing Bow Pulling Pose I felt nauseous. Rut Roh. Never a good sign. My mind starting dissecting everything I ate in the past 24 hours. "Oh no, maybe I had too much 4 seasons? Maybe that Diet Snapple I had at 3pm is coming back to haunt me? Damn you artificial sweetener!"
Whatever it was, I had to leave class. I was so disappointed in myself, but at the same time I couldn't help it. I had to go. Over share? Sorry. It happens. I felt depleted after and also felt I was the cause of the downturn of the class. Actually, that's not true, it was still a strong class. Tuesday night CHAMPIONS. It was hot.
I ended up going out for dinner last night because I needed calories and protein and I didn't have the energy to cook. I came home from class and made a protein shake to try help my muscles, but the thought of preparing a meal turned me off. I will share about my joy of cooking in the next post, a rant if you will. (stay tuned)
I still feel tired. My arms feel strong, but weak. What's a girl to do? I plan to eat my daily intake of calories and then some, with added protein too. Maybe I'm not getting enough? Who knows? Either way I gotta get through this because I have to lead Silent tonight at 7:30p. Which I'm happy I have an extra hour to recover.
Seriously, I have no idea how Cindy, our teacher/owner does it? More to come on her soon.
